As we approach the end of another eventful year, we would like to wish our many clients, friends and partners a very Happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year.

In the UK, the government published its response to the Corporate Governance Reform green paper and the Financial Reporting Council launched its consultation on proposals for a revised Governance and Stewardship Code. Executive pay is still high on the agenda for investors, regulators, and companies alike.  Sustainability and strategic reporting is also coming front and center as the challenge of addressing climate change grows in importance. Meanwhile, in the USA the imminent launch of the first independent Investor Stewardship Group looks to shake up the 2018 AGM season with new voices and views.
